Leukerbad | Stacy Lynn Waddell

stacy-wadell-2.jpg

Stacy Lynn Waddell took one of Elsewhere’s humble hand hewn tables marked with the scuffs and scratches of daily use and gilded it with gold leaf to give it distinction among the tables at the museum and to revalue it as an objet d’art. The title, Leukerbad, comes from the name of the town that James Baldwin visits in his personal essay, Stranger in the Village.
