Stevie Delgado

Stevie Haley Delgado is an artist residing in Mt Vernon, Iowa, where she works as a Lecturer of Studio Art at Cornell College. Their work explores pockets of liminal space that exist within her lived experiences, creating markers of time and relationships through a storybook lens with illustration and sculpture. These in-betweens are depicted through large-scale installation with the use of cardboard, shadow-play, wood and papier-mâché. Beyond her installation work, she is interested in performance and collaborative work in order to transform or execute visions that would otherwise be difficult to realize alone.
